My pot of dirt has at last bloomed and look what a swan it turned into. Cheerily yellow despite having never seen the sun since they've opened. Next year, they'll be in the ground instead of resembling a pot of dirt all winter.
Careful where you put them! I moved some from a pot into a bed and they got really badly eaten by slugs - some of them didn't survive. Fantastic though, aren't they? I check mine every five minutes when I'm waiting for the petals to open.
